2012 Format & Draw

This year, interest was down, so I am running the Cup as a 24 team tournament.  Draw was completed in the usual fashion.

Cup Format

• MFLS Weeks 4-9 : Group Stage Phase I
• MFLS Weeks 10-15 : Group Stage Phase II
• MFLS Weeks 16 & 17 : Quarterfinals (2 legs)
• MFLS Weeks 18 & 19 : Semifinals (2 legs)
• MFLS Week 20 : Cup Final & 3rd Place Match

Advancement

• Top 2 finishers in each Group in Stage I, plus the top four 3rd place finishers advance to Group Stage II
• Top 2 finishers in each Group in Stage II advance to the Quarterfinals
• 2 Leg Quarterfinal & Semifinal rounds
• Single match Final & 3rd Place decider

2. Goals Allowed by the goalkeeper

Phase I Draw

As of the draw, we had 3 open slots. We may fill those, we may not. For the time being I entered them into the general draw.  They are:

Mr. Orange
Mr. Pink

The Make-Up Squad

If we get more players, I’ll replace them (and their weekly scores). No complaining if you go from a forfeit win to a back-dated loss!
